Excellent experience!
San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten - 11/2014
The only negative comment I have is that we did not enjoy our destinations and we do not intend to return to the Caribbean again. Celebrity (The Reflection) was wonderful. Not only was the ship beautiful, but the staff was superb!
Pros: Service,Food, Cleanliness
Cons: Destinations.... San Juan & St. Thomas.

HAD A VERY NICE TIME. WOULD DO THIS OR A SIMILAR CRUISE ON THIS SHIP OR ANOTHER SOLISTICE CLASS IN THE FUTURE.
Pros: Beautiful ship. Great entertainment. Food fair to good. Great ports. Competent staff.
Cons: Disappointed with the speciality restaurants. The Harvest Silk Chinese was the worst.

Awesome first cruise experience
St.Croix, St. Kitts, Dominica, Grenada. St. Thomas - 10/2014
This was our first cruise and I had a number of reservations about it. My travel agent did everything he could to reassure me and prepare me for this trip. My greatest concern was the 7 day length of the trip for first timers. HIs advise was that for a first cruise 6 or 7 days allows you to become familiar with the culture and the ship and still gives you ample time to settle in and enjoy. He hit the nail on the head with that answer, it did take us a couple of days to become acclimated. That being said we enjoyed every minute of our cruise; the food was excellent, the entertainment was very good and above all the staff was AWESOME. Friendly, helpful and considerate. The level of service on the Summit was comparable to that of a 5 star resort. The itinerary of the Southern Caribbean cruise offered us a number of options to sightsee, shop, my wife's preference and to take part in many activities. The one thing that stood out to us was the number of people we met on the trip who had been on a number of cruises but on other lines and how impressed they were with the ship, the service and the food. We are now trying to find a time to take our next cruise.
Pros: Staff, Food, Ship size, Ammenites,
Cons: Expensive and slow internet.

British Isles cruise
British Isles - 8/2014
Had a wonderful time, shore excursions went smoothly, food was very good, only disappointment was that there was no chiropractor on board while it was advertised that there would be. Spa was very nice and personnel was great.
Pros: Entertainment, customer service, room accommodations, dining service
Cons: there was advertised a chiropractor and an acupuncturist and they were not on board.

Solstice; One Man's opinion
Ketchecan, Juneau, Skagway - 8/2014
After 45+ cruises and having sailed everything from the now defunt Viking line, to Carnival, Princess and Royal Caribbean, my wife and I are in a unique postition to evaluate the Solstice. The lay out of the ship was creative and well designed, the venues furnished exquisitly! The food both in the dinning room and in the Oceanview (buffet) Cafe are far and away the best we've ever eaten. It's not even close. Dinning room menu choices, though leaning far too heavily towards fish for our taste, were many and varied. And every item we sampled was literally to die for! It was that good! We found all of the ships officers to be extremely approachable and friendly. The same cannot be said of the bar and wait staff. We found them aloof and distant, often barking at guests who were not familiar with either choices on a menu, be it food or drink, or simply not familiar with the "Celebrity" way of doing things. It is my opinion and that of my wife, that the customer service on Celebrity needs some re evaluation and tightening up. It is, in my opinion, near the bottom in rating the customer service on all of the lines we've traveled. In fact, to be absolutely frank, the only worse customer service we've seen has been on Carnival; a line we will never, ever cruise again, even if we were given one for free. But make no mistake; this one SINGLE aspect of the cruise was the only place in which we could find fault, and we would most certainly travel with Celebrity again!
Pros: Decor, Venues, ship design, food
Cons: Bar staff, and wait staff leave a LOT to be desired.

Excellent ship experience
Alaska - 8/2014
There was no celebrity staff in the bus terminal after disembarkment to direct us to the correct bus taking us to the airport. This created some confusion for us.
Pros: The ship was kept very clean.
Cons: The disembarkment process from ship to transportation to airport home.

Summit August 2014
Port Canaveral, Bahamas - 8/2014
Port was changed due to weather, as experienced cruisers we were disappointed, but understood safety is the primary issue.
Pros: Captains club Rep. Ashley and staff (Lilianna) were very attentive. Cabins very clean thank you Thelma and her assistant
Cons: Guest relations desk could not get us any satisfaction without consulting

Cruisetour 6B
Alaska - 8/2014
Pros: Well organized land tour and the cruise ship experience was very good
Cons: Even with a well organized land tour, Celebrity crammed too much into Day 3: four hour train ride from Fairbanks to Denali and eight hour bus ride through the Denali Tundra. It should never be an offering.

Betty and Jim Rubenstein
Italy and Greece - 7/2014
Overall, we had a lovely time on this cruise. The pre cruise hotel, the Monaco Grand Canal, was very convenient in terms of location and the staff were lovely. It was off the Grand Canal and close to St. Marks Square. The rooms were very small, though. Breakfast was fine. On the ship, Aqua Class is definitely worth the upgrade. You get to eat dinner each night at the time you want in the specialty restaurant, BLU for not extra charge. BLU can only seat around 130 people. The feel is more like a fine restaurant in Miami or NY. Aqua class also gives you bottled water in the room and flavored tea each day. The onboard drink package is definitely worth it even for the lighter drinkers. It includes gratuity so no thinking is required! On the first night, there is usually a special (2 for 1) for the specialty restaurants. No need to book that night in advance. Had dinner one night in the Tuscan Grill specialty restaurant for $45pp, but, did not have to. The food in BLU is special enough. The shows overall were good; the Broadway song show was the best. The comedy show very good. The final show disappointed us. It was very slow and did not feature the dancers. Celegbrity is a more elegant ship than RCCL in terms of the look, the staff and the passengers. We enjoyed our vacation very much!
Pros: Loved Aqua Class, enjoyed the drink package, a more elegant staff than RCCL
Cons: The final show was a let down; very ordinary.

Ship review-Celebrity Silhouette
Venice, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Malta, Ravenna Italy, Bari Italy, Sicily, Naples - 7/2014
This was our first Celebrity cruise, and we were very pleased. The ship was quite spacious. In general we never felt crowded. The entertainment, for the most part, was quite good, and a nice variety. Our two favorite shows were a Broadway review and an aerielist show. This second one was something we had never seen in all of our years of cruising.
Pros: Beautiful ship, friendly staff, good food, lots of unique eating venues.
Cons: storage in our balcony cabin was a bit tight. There were only three drawers for clothes and no shelving.

Istanbul - 7/2014
Just finished a wonderful cruise from Rome to Greece and Turkey for 11 days. The Celebrity Reflection was great - staff, food and ship. If I had to find some negatives: Drinks were too expensive and evening shows could have been better.
Pros: Great staff
Cons: Drink prices

Alaska Inland Passage Seattle to Seattle
Alaska - 7/2014
A very pleasant 7 day cruise. Lots to do at every port, dog sledding, whale watching, sea kayaking and the list goes on. as with all celebrity ships and especially the Solstice Class ships the food and service are wonderful. We were three generations including 7 grandchildren and everyone had a great time.
Pros:
Cons: Seattle is a longshoreman controlled port and so the decide how quickly you get your lugggage

Iceland and Norweigan Fjords
Iceland and Fjords in Norway - 7/2014
Many of the problems would have been avoided if the ship was not full. Most things were handled well with so many people but the weather caused the flaws to show with indoor public areas too small for a small ship.
Pros: Great ports, good tours, helpful staff, and great lectures.
Cons: The weather was cold and wet and because the ship was full, there were not enough comfortable places in public areas for sitting without having to buy a drink. Even buying a drink spaces were very limited. If you did not get to the theater 15 minutes early, the popular shows filled completely up as there were not enough seats for a full ship.

Medditeranean Cruise, June 23 2014
Italy, Greece, Turkey - 6/2014
Beautiful ship - a great crew, very clean and very well maintained. Just a few minor complaints- nothing open for a bite past 1am, room service however was fast and efficient.. the dining room(s) and buffet in my opinion were not appealing, aesthetically speaking ...somewhat cold.. lacking colors or using colors that remind me of a hospital cafeteria. The dining room food and overall specialty restaurants were very good though. Also, were Concierge class and they were not able to meet some minor cabin wants and needs that were told to us. All and all however, it was a great ship and a great staff. Very memorable cruise :)

Once in a lifetime vacation
Italy (Rome & Naples), Turkey (Istanbul & Ephesus), Greece (Santorini & Athens) - 6/2014
We decided to take a cruise because we were traveling with two children (ages 9 and 11 yrs old) and wanted to see several countries at a leisurely pace. Every other morning, we woke up a new scenic location. We opted to go with the ship's guided tours because it was our first time in Europe. Shore excursions were well organized and gave us a taste of the different cities. All of the staff - cruise director, entertainment, room attendants, dining room staff and those working behind the scenes - did a great job in ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care on and off the ship. Wow, our Celebrity Reflection cruise experience was luxurious and well worth the price!
Pros: Ability to see several countries without packing & unpacking, trip inclusive of food and room accommodations, different activities to choose from for different age groups
Cons: "Extras" such as bottled water & fancy coffee (latte & cappucino) can add up

Mediterranean Escape
Istanbul, Mykonos, Athens, Malta, Sicily, and Sorrento, Italy, - 6/2014
We, wife, myself, and two grandsons, took the Greek and Italy cruise on the Celebrity Equinox in June, 2014. Our trip began with a 3 day pre-cruise stay in Istanbul, our embarkation port. The pre-cruise included three nights at the Senatus Hotel plus a one-day tour of the city. There was plenty of extra time to learn about and enjoy the mystique of Istanbul. The Senatus was located within walking distance of many attractons including the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque. We recommend looking no further than the restaurant at the Senatus as it was the best we found. The cruise stops included Mykonos, Athens, Malta, Sicily, and Sorrento each of which had its own individual highlights. The excursions we took gave us a good taste of each of the stops on the cruise. Celebrity offers great service, wonderful dining, terrific entertainment, and the cabin accommodations were superb as well as more spcacious than we experienced on previous cruises. This was a special trip for us and Celebrity certainly enhanced our travel experience.
Pros: The whole Celebrity experience. They do everything the right way.
Cons: The ten days went too fast.

Norway and Iceland - 6/2014

Pros: Iceland is a very interesting place to visit.
Cons: Sea day is boring.

Excellent crew, beautiful trip - thoroughly enjoyed!
Alaska - 6/2014
Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Crew was polite, welcoming, helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Dominik of Future Cruises. He handled all my changes efficiently and quickly - also very polite and professional. All Future Cruise staff was very polite and courteous. Guest Relations staff - excellent. Stateroom attendants - attentive to all my needs and quickly complied with any request. LOVED the blanket animals! Each night was a different animal. Dining room wait staff and hostess were wonderful - very pleasant and accommodated all my requests! Concierge (Cindy) was super - she must be psychic! Any questions we had concerning ports and transportation were anticipated and all information provided in a very understandable manner. Loved the mass information and Vancouver sky train flyers! Hopefully all Celebrity concierges will follow and provide mass information! Activity Director (Rachel) and Activity Host (Taylor) very enjoyable - made trivia and other games fun. Loved DJ Zen's movie music trivia!! Did not attend production shows; however Beyond the Podium was very interesting. Captain's Club (Lionel) was also excellent. Enjoyed Captain's Club activities. Crew was always very approachable and answered questions. Did not use Shore Excursions. Very heavy on jewelry port shopping (like Caribbean). Port shopping guide and his wife were helpful and available. Most shore excursions were rather expensive. Public buses and shuttles were available and inexpensive.
Pros: Crew was very courteous, helpful and attentive!
Cons: Cruise Director - difficult to understand his accent. Came across as rather bossy. Did not appreciate photographers chasing us to take photos with characters in front of Oceanview restaurant.

Great Ship, Great Crew, Great Weather, Great Itinerary
Norway fjords, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Shetland Islands, Bergen - 6/2014
We sailed the Norwegian fjords and Iceland including the Faroe Islands and Shetlands Islands. The weather could not have been better (except Bergen - thunder storms!) The crew was wonderful - very welcoming. Made every effort to meet and exceed expectations. If you like big cities, this is NOT the cruise for you! The itinerary was small towns and nature - very peaceful. It was great for wandering through streets, checking out the shops and talking to the locals about their wonderful cities. Some people were bored due to the lack of big city excitement. A vacation is what YOU make it. I always spoke with the tourist office and the locals for suggestions. The Golden Circle tour was great, as was the Highlights of Geiranger (plenty of photo stops) and the Shetland ponies (loved being petted)! Went to the Stave church in Bergen on my own and enjoyed it. It is easy to access via the light rail and a short walk. Didn't go to any shows so am rating entertainment a 3. Iceland and Norway are very expensive.
Pros: The itinerary, the crew, some good tours
Cons: The port information provided by Guest Relations needs to be updated. Notified Guest Relations. OceanView normally too crowded to enjoy. Go off hours. Ports are very expensive.

The food in Blu was good but not appreciably better than the main dining room. Service was spotty, had to ask every day for water and coffee refills. Seemed the dining was under staffed.

Cons: not much better food

Pacific Coast in Spring
LA to Vancouver, Pacific Coastal - 5/2014
The most amazing weather, and a wonderful cruise. Our first time on Celebrity and we loved the soon to be sold Century. What a beautiful ship. The room steward was friendly and attentive; how do they learn names so fast? We liked the shows and the other activities. We appreciated that there wasn't a lot of pressure to buy things. We did enjoy the casino, but we are not big spenders. It's just nice that there was no smoking in the casino so we could spend a bit of time there. Overall, a wonderful vacation with ports we love. We are B.C. residents so have been to many of them before but that means we had a plan and knew the places we wanted to see. Love San Francisco, so much to do there. Very happy that the ship did an overnight there. Worst part is that we will not be able to take this cruise on this ship ever again. Thanks for this one wonderful trip, Celebrity.

Our First Cruise
Bermuda - 5/2014
Wonderful attentive staff, delicious food, spacious room and service. Lovely guests on board. My husband and I were tentative at first ,concerned about privacy and the ship being too crowed. I was pleasantly surprised however to discover that the ship had the perfect balance of "togetherness and privacy" and we desired. We can't wait to book our next cruise on Celebrity !!

Next year----Forget Russia
Japan; Russia; Canada - 5/2014
Pros: Good shows: good entertainment director
Cons: Advertised Sapporo, but stopped 2 hrs bus trip away. Therefore using up 1/2 of the 1 day stop on bus. Didn't travel so far to sit on bus. Also, Russian stop was terrible. It was not a stop for us as tourist, but a refueling stop for ship. They should get another refueling place or stop referring to it as a tourist destination.

Caribbean Vacation
Puerto Rico, St Thomas & St Maarten - 4/2014
From the very first encounter (welcome glass of champagne) Celebrity's attention to detail did not disappoint. Our stateroom attendant was most attentive. She was always there to fulfill all our requests. From our afternoon tea to our canapés, she made sure we had everything we asked for and more. I especially loved the little detail on the folding of the toilet paper. Blu was another highlight of our cruise experience. From the Maitre D to our servers we were truly pampered. The menu selections and food quality were outstanding. The restaurant personal seem to anticipate our needs each and every nite. Blu is now a MUST for every cruise.
Pros: Blu, special consideration for Elite members,
Cons: Can't think of any

April 20014 Cruise to Canary Islands, Spain, France and Italy
Canary Islands, Spain, France, Italy - 4/2014
My husband I loved the Reflection of the Seas. It is a beautiful ship and the weather was warm in the low 70s which was ideal and the seas were calm throughout the voyage. The captain's navigational skills were fantastic as were all the crew members and our room attendant and meal severs. The ports we visited were all beautiful and clean and the people were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and we would book a cruise on the Reflection again without hesitation.
Pros: Fantastic ship
Cons: Better explanation of what to expect when we came into ports that were not close to the cities promised.

Cruise Review 3-29-14 thru 4-5-14
San Juan - St. Thomas - St. Martin - 3/2014
All staff excellent. Very small details that could use improvement. IE: on deck 14 waiters should arrive at tables with coffee cups and coffee in hand and offer tea and coffee. Present systems not working. Waiters standing around to REFILL YOUR coffee cup and clean up tables. If asked they would go for coffee and then have to get in the SAME line as passengers to get coffee! Also cream, sugar, etc. should be somewhere else AWAY from folks in line trying to get coffee. Cabin closets quite small and over bed units not usable for shorter people. Entertainment - Elton John Tribute guy and Big Mike's group excellent. Other shows, while performers were impressive, music was LOUD and the "high energy thing" was over bearing!! These kinds of things are VERY small objections but would add to the experience if "fixed". Overall though a very good value and enjoyable.
Pros: Nice Ship - lots of variety in outdoor seating, etc.
Cons: Small amenities lacking

Reflection review
Caribbean - 3/2014
We were disappointed in the Reflection ship. This was our 8th cruise with Celebrity. This ship had smaller cabins and they did not have a lot of the amenties of the older ships. The food was just ok. It was often over-cooked and bland. This is the first time we have been disappointed in the quality of Celebrity. The entertainers were very good, but also very loud. My husband had to leave one performance because it hurt his ears. He is an entertainer so for him to walk out was major.
Pros: It is a beautiful ship. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The bathrooms were a nice size.
Cons: The rooms were small and not a lot of storage. The closets were small and hard to get into. The food was very bland and often over-cooked. The shows were very loud, however they were very good.

Cons: Everyone loved the entertainment giving standing ovations after every show, I would have liked more than one comedy show.
